Join an experienced and dynamic claims operations team focused on improving the claims experience of our "Surety" Business Unit in our focus on Latin America and the U.S. You will collaborate with local and global teams to implement practical processes and digital solutions, lead measurable improvements, and directly influence how we serve claimants in various countries.
What you should do:
Map and analyze current claims processes (roles, systems, transfers, SLAs, metrics) to identify bottlenecks and root causes.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear, prioritized requirements and acceptance criteria.
Create and maintain SOPs, work guides, and process documentation aligned with the regional/integral operating model.
Lead or support process improvement and automation initiatives.
Provide operational support to country teams in LatAm and the U.S., helping to resolve issues, standardize practices, and enable consistent service delivery.
Manage small to medium projects: plan schedules, manage risks, facilitate workshops, run acceptance/pilot tests, and support implementations.
Design training and communications (including LMS content) to ensure consistent adoption.
Measure post-implementation impact (KPIs), detect issues, and promote sustainability.
Build trusting relationships with country teams and cross-functional partners; Represent claims operations in regional forums.
Main responsibilities of the position;
Work with country teams to map current claims processes, identify hotspots, and recommend best practices.
Collect and document business needs, requirements,
and standard operating procedures that reflect local realities and regional objectives.
Identify, lead, or support the implementation of process improvement initiatives and digital/system solutions.
Lead or support improvement projects focused on optimizing work, improving quality, and enriching the customer experience.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and testing with stakeholders to ensure solutions are appropriate.
Help design deployments, training, and communications so that changes are adopted consistently, leveraging the global LMS Claims operating model.
Track results after changes, measure impact, and help teams sustain improvements.
Ensure that proposed changes respect local regulations and internal controls.
Be accountable and coordinate with company partners when necessary to support operational improvements.
Preparation, training and experience:
Must English level: B2+ to C1 (Written and verbal proficiency in English); Portuguese is a plus.
Professional with a degree in business, insurance, IT, or engineering or equivalent experience.
2–4 years in business analysis, process/operations improvement, or similar (insurance/claims experience preferred).
Demonstrated ability to map processes, obtain requirements, and produce SOPs or user documentation.
Experience in project coordination.
Strong analytical skills (comfortable with data), excellent written and verbal communication.
Effective facilitator and stakeholder manager; with cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate in LatAm and U.S. contexts.
Detail-oriented, pragmatic, results-oriented and adaptable approach.
