Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.AccountabilitiesChampions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.To manage low to medium risk projects.Drive initiatives within the team and the overall department to deliver automation solutions and process improvements.Drive initiatives with our business line partners to incorporate (onboard) new services to the APS team's service catalogue and ensure all customer and team requirements are completed/delivered before onboarding completes.Play an overall role for the APS team that seeks out areas for improvement and works with the stakeholders (team member of business line partners) to implement customer experience improvements.Manages multiple initiatives/tasks concurrently.
Assist on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Escalates more complex problems to management for guidance.Determine course(s)
of action that may fall outside of procedural and policy guidelines and standards and makes recommendations.Provides work leadership and guidance to all team members and business partners they will be collaborating with for automation and process improvement initiatives.Maintains working relationships with key business line partners.Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Integral Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.Reporting RelationshipsPrimary Manager: Senior Manager, Account Provisioning ServicesDirect Reports: N/AShared Reports: N/ADimensionsProvide support to BNS employee globally (88,000) across all business linesFinancial dimensions (e.g., capital budget, annual project cost, operating budget, etc.)Interact with internal clients of all levels dailyBe prepared to work non-standard hoursRegulatory bodies and special requirementsEducation / Experience / Other InformationA good working knowledge of shell/script programming.Experience with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience working within the ITIL frameworkExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Good understanding of ticket tracking tool (Service Now).
