Proven experience in C++ development (7+ years preferred).
Strong background in reverse engineering and modernization of legacy systems.
Hands‐on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL C++ libraries (e.g., libpqxx) or willingness to quickly ramp up.
Strong understanding of object‐oriented programming, memory management, and multithreading in C++.
Experience working in Linux‐based development environments.
Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt in complex migration projects.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross‐functional teams.
Set Yourself Apart With
Prior experience in migration projects (especially C++ to Java or legacy to modern stacks).
Knowledge of Java — desirable but not required.
Experience designing database connectivity layers or middleware components.
Exposure to AI‐driven platforms or large‐scale distributed systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to mentor junior developers or share best practices in migration contexts.
