Job Summary/Purpose

Minimum Training and Education
Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Licensed registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)



required for most nursing areas within the hospital.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing stairs; work in confined/cramped spaces; lift and carry 50 lb.
unassisted; perform repetitive motions with hands; work rotating shifts; work overnight; maintain ***** vision and hearing; manage stress; work in latex‐safe environment; respirator use for selected positions.
