Responsible for leading the end-to-end payroll process (processing, payment, and accounting) to ensure correct payment of employees and compliance with the current country legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the relationship with the payroll vendor and ensure timely execution of standard and complex payroll tasks according to defined processes, schedules, and service levels in accordance with regional and local guidelines.
Review information (hirings, terminations, vacations, car allowance, mobility, holidays worked, commissions, medical leaves, absences, etc.) necessary to achieve payroll processing.
Execute personnel payments accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with the current country legislation.
Execute payment of social security, retirement saving plans, and income taxes to comply with labor law.
Present required documentation for audits or inspections (e.g., Ministry of Labor and Employment, Internal audits) to comply with legislation and company guidelines.
Carry out standard and complex audits of personnel data, programs, and processes.
Provide consulting and service to employees and the HR community on general and more complex payroll topics.
Process standard and complex inquiries & support through ticket self‐service, e‐mail, and telephone.
Run payroll for the relevant group of employees.
Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and system usage.
Support reconciling financial accounts with payroll results.
Compare monthly accounting documents in cooperation with the local data management team and payroll accounting specialists across market, finance, and controlling.
Provide timely reporting and preparation of declarations and ensure appropriate communication with tax authorities, social security, and other state institutions.
Monitor incoming employee payments.




Ensure correct account assignment of wage types in SAP HR.
Manage the change of systems and processes related to payroll management to ensure proper execution of regulations and compliance with corporate policies.
Provide input for changes to corporate policies and regulations.
Support projects and modifications of systems and processes to ensure correct implementation of regulations and compliance with corporate guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
University degree or commercial education.
At least 5 years of work experience in payroll accounting or finance.
Strong MS‐Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) user‐knowledge.
Experience with business computing solutions, ideally in SAP‐HR (PA, PY, OM).
Broad and deep theoretical understanding of the job function.
Very good association and experience with payroll solutions, ideally with SAP HR.
Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar.
English proficiency B2 – ability to read, write, and communicate in English in a business setting.
Attention to detail and high customer orientation.
Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation; ability to navigate complex organizations and diverse audiences.
Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills.
