You will be part of a collaborative Agile team that includes Data Engineers, BI Architects, Business Analysts, and QA professionals.
This role involves working across the BI development lifecycle - from data modeling to dashboard creation and performance optimization - primarily using Power BI and SSAS (Tabular and/or Multidimensional).
Education / Experience / Other InformationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Nice to have).2-3 years of hands on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack, including SQL Server, SSAS (Tabular and Multidimensional), SSRS, and Power BI.
(Must)Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), with a strong focus on performance tuning and scalability.
(Must)Strong proficiency in DAX, Row Level Security (RLS), Power Query (M), and SQL for building robust and secure BI solutions.
(Must)Familiarity with Power BI Service, including workspaces, dataflows, and semantic models.
(Must)Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
(Nice to have)Familiarity with Active Directory for access control and security.
(Nice to have)Experience using JIRA for task and project management.
(Nice to have)English level B1 or higher (spoken and written) to support Canadian stakeholders.
(Must)Strong analytical and communication skills.
(Nice to have)Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
