**Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional **Operations Manager** to lead the daily operations of our Medellín office. Our company specializes in **technology integration, hospitality solutions, furniture technology, and low-voltage systems**.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of local operations, coordinating project support, logistics, procurement, and compliance, as well as **managing employees in Medellín who work remotely to support our U.S. office**. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to align Medellín operations with U.S. headquarters.
**Key Responsibilities1. Operational Leadership**
- Oversee all operations of the Medellín office, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Act as the main point of coordination between the Medellín office and the U.S. headquarters.
**2. Project & Technical Operations**
- Support and monitor projects related to **low-voltage systems** (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, A/V, automation).
- Oversee **hospitality and furniture technology operations**, ensuring they meet both design and technical requirements.
- Track schedules, deliverables, and operational needs for ongoing projects.
**3. Remote Employee Supervision**
- Directly supervise Medellín-based employees working remotely for the U.S. office.
- Ensure remote staff meet performance standards, deadlines, and quality expectations.
- Conduct regular check-ins, evaluations, and provide coaching to optimize productivity.
- Foster clear communication between remote employees and U.S. managers.
**4. Procurement,
Logistics & Finance**
- Manage purchasing of equipment, technology, and furnishings.
- Oversee logistics, shipping, and coordination with vendors both locally and internationally.
- Track expenses, manage budgets, and prepare financial and operational reports.
**5. Customer & Hospitality Operations**
- Support hospitality-focused client operations and ensure service levels are consistently met.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, GCs, and vendors to address operational needs.
- Provide oversight of installations and service delivery in hospitality and technology environments.
**6. Compliance, Quality & Reporting**
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and KPI tracking.
- Monitor quality assurance across projects and services.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in **technology, low-voltage, furniture technology, or hospitality sectors**.
- Proven experience supervising **remote employees and distributed teams**.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in **English and Spanish**.
- Knowledge of project management, procurement, and international logistics.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
