Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Contractor’s Quality Control System (CQC).

- Ensure compliance with the quality requirements established in the contract and the project’s technical specifications.

- Coordinate, supervise, and monitor quality control activities throughout project execution.

- Act as the Contractor’s representative in all matters related to the quality management system.

- Implement and maintain procedures, records, and controls necessary to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Coordinate inspections, verifications, and quality assurance activities required by the project.

- Manage the identification, documentation, and follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions.

- Maintain communication and coordination with the client, inspectors, and other stakeholders on quality-related matters.

- Ensure the proper implementation and monitoring of the approved Quality Control Plan for the project.

- Perform any other duties or responsibilities related to their area of expertise as assigned by their immediate supervisor or Project Management.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a university degree in Construction Management.





- Valid professional license/certification issued by the JTIA, where applicable.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design or construction of water treatment plants or water treatment plant expansion projects.

- Experience in quality assurance and quality control systems for construction projects.

- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate quality control activities.

- Availability to work full-time throughout the project execution period.

- Availability to work in La Chorrera, West Panama.

- Preferably reside in West Panama or have the ability to commute daily to the project site.
