Job Description

We are hiring Business Technology Program Manager

ON SITE | Medellín, Colombia

About the Role

Simpro is hiring a Business Technology Program Manager to support the Business Technology & Operations team.

This role will help coordinate, prioritize, communicate, and report on the work being delivered across the Data Team, Salesforce Team, and Sales Operations.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of business operations, technology delivery, reporting, stakeholder communication, and operational visibility.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate Sprint Planning and Release Communication

Partner with the Data Team, Salesforce Team, and Sales Operations to understand what work is planned for upcoming sprints and releases.

Create clear communication around what is included in each sprint, what is being released, what is changing, and which stakeholders or business teams may be impacted.

- Support Prioritization of Enhancements

Help organize, track, and prioritize enhancement requests across Salesforce, data, reporting, sales operations, and related business technology areas.

Work with business stakeholders and team leads to clarify business impact, urgency, dependencies, risks, and expected outcomes.

Ensure enhancement requests are documented clearly enough for technical teams to evaluate and deliver.

- Build Dashboards and Operational Reporting

Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting views that provide visibility into team workload, sprint progress, release status, completed work, backlog health, enhancement requests, risks, blockers, and key accomplishments.

Use dashboards to help leadership and stakeholders understand what work is being delivered, what is coming next, where capacity is constrained, and where decisions or escalation may be needed.

- Use AI to Improve Speed and Quality

Leverage AI tools in a secure, responsible, and business-appropriate way to improve documentation, summarize sprint activity, draft stakeholder updates, analyze work trends, identify risks, organize requirements, and improve the quality and consistency of communication.

Help the team identify practical ways to use AI to reduce manual effort, improve visibility, and move faster without compromising data security, confidentiality, or quality.

- Report on Work Accomplished

Prepare regular updates that summarize work completed, work in progress, upcoming priorities, risks, blockers, and key decisions needed.

Create clear, executive-ready reporting that shows progress, throughput, accomplishments, and where leadership support may be required.

- Improve Visibility Across Teams

Create structure and transparency across Data, Salesforce, and Sales Operations workstreams.

Help ensure stakeholders understand what the teams are working on, when work is expected to be delivered,

and how priorities are being managed.

- Manage Cross-Functional Projects

Support project planning and execution for business technology initiatives, including Salesforce enhancements, data initiatives, process improvements, reporting changes, operational launches, and system-related projects.

Develop project plans, timelines, status updates, action item trackers, risk logs, and communication plans.

- Connect Business Needs to Technical Delivery

Work with business users to understand what they are trying to solve, then help translate those needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, or project documentation.

Partner with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, dependencies are identified, and delivery expectations are clear.

- Support Governance and Operating Cadence

Help maintain the intake, prioritization, sprint review, release communication, and status reporting processes for the Business Technology & Operations team.

Ensure work is tracked consistently and that business stakeholders have a clear path for requesting enhancements, understanding status, and preparing for change.

- Identify Risks, Dependencies, and Blockers

Proactively identify issues that could impact delivery timelines, business readiness, stakeholder alignment, or release quality.

Escalate risks and blockers early, with clear recommendations and options for resolution.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, business operations, sales operations, technology operations, or a related role.

- Experience working with technical teams, business systems teams, data teams, Salesforce teams, or business operations teams.

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to organize work, manage timelines, track dependencies, follow up on action items, and communicate status clearly.

- Experience building dashboards, status reports, operational trackers, or reporting views that help leadership understand progress, capacity, risks, and accomplishments.

- Comfort working with data and metrics to measure team performance, delivery progress, backlog health, and business impact.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear updates for business stakeholders and leadership.

- Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories, project plans, or delivery documentation.

- Ability to use AI tools securely and responsibly to improve productivity, documentation, analysis, reporting, communication, and project execution.

- Experience helping prioritize work based on business impact, urgency,

dependencies, and capacity.

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

- Comfortable working across multiple teams, time zones, and stakeholder groups.
