"Scheduler - Digestive Health Associates
• Coordinating scheduling procedure with patient, physician schedules, hospital and Ambulatory Centers
• Discusses with patients the appropriate preps for their procedures and makes sure prep information is emailed/mailed to patient same day • • Verifies patient’s history, medications, past proceduresprocedures, and allergies
• Obtains needed clearances (pulmonary, cardiology, neurology) as needed
• Educates patient on the discontinuation of blood thinners as directed by managing doctor
• Completes Boarding Forms and submits it to the appropriate surgical facility and to procedure verification
• Determines whether an office visit is necessary before procedure.

• Answers patient questions
• Assists with other medical office needs, including scheduling, and telephone inquiries
• Adheresnce to all laws and regulations regarding employment, including HIPPA, OSHA/MIOSHA regulations pharmaceuticals, safety, medical waste disposal
