About the Role

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role will support the Finance department in preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and assisting with audits and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

- Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions in the accounting system, including AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, and general ledger activity
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, customers, and general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and support the preparation of tax filings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly,



and annual financial reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards, including GAAP and/or IFRS
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and required reporting activities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate and timely financial data
- Collaborate with external auditors by preparing schedules, documentation, and supporting materials
- Monitor internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

- 2–4 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including GAAP and/or IFRS
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional ethics, confidentiality, and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Good communication skills in English, at an intermediate to advanced level
