GateSource HR is seeking an experienced Gold Project Director with experience in Tailings Recovery to lead the development, commissioning, and operational ramp-up of a large-scale gold tailings reprocessing facility.The role is dedicated exclusively to the reprocessing of tailings through gravity recovery and CIL/CIP circuits, without involvement in conventional mining activities. It is responsible for accelerating plant ramp-up, advancing environmental remediation objectives, and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient gold recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead commissioning and operation of a gold tailings reprocessing plant.
- Optimize gravity and CIL/CIP circuits to maximize recovery and performance.
- Ensure safe, stable, and environmentally compliant operations.




- Oversee remediation programs and regulatory coordination.
- Manage OPEX/CAPEX with focus on efficiency and risk reduction.
- Drive operational excellence through digital monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic leadership to maximize tailings value and uphold ESG standards.

Requirements
- Operational experience in gold tailings processing plants
- Experience in gravity gold recovery systems
- CIL and/or CIP circuits
- High-volume slurry transport systems
- Tailings retreatment infrastructure
- Documented experience with mercury and heavy-metal remediation in tailings environments.
