Position Title: Senior Backend Developer
Location: LATAM
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Senior Backend PHP/Laravel Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and integrations that support critical business operations. The idóneo candidate has extensive experience building robust backend systems in PHP/Laravel, integrating third-party platforms, and working with eCommerce and warehouse management solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of backend software development experience.
- Strong backend development experience with a framework-agnostic mindset with PHP/Laravel (preferred) and/or Python
- Proven experience designing and implementing integrations with third-party applications and external APIs.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, data mapping, synchronization strategies, error handling, and monitoring.
- Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Experience with synchronization strategies, error handling, and monitoring
- Experience building middleware solutions or integration layers
- Experience integrating Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and data transformation.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
