Veta Virtual is hiring a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist for one of our Financial & Accounting Services clients. As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll work as part of our client’s team, providing financial support to their standout startup clients. You’ll take full ownership of their revenue cycle and ensure smooth financial operations from quote to cash. Your day-to-day work will involve:
Responsibilities
- Leading end-to-end revenue operations — from generating quotes and invoices to reconciling discrepancies, tracking receivables, and ensuring timely collections.
- Overseeing a small team (2 AR Specialists) to send invoices daily, review accuracy against order forms, and resolve discrepancies with sales or customers.
- Responding to customer and sales questions on invoicing, taking ownership of collections,
and confidently pushing back when needed.
- Supporting accurate revenue reporting by collaborating with the accounting team and reviewing SQL query outputs.
- Optimizing key systems (QuickBooks Online, Stripe) while leading upgrades, automation projects, and process improvements.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding billing, invoices, and payment statuses.
What You’ll Need
- 1–3+ years of accounting experience in U.S.-based companies, with strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations.
- Proven experience managing the full revenue cycle (quote-to-cash) and overseeing small teams.
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Stripe, plus ability to review SQL outputs for accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies and push back when necessary with customers or sales.
