Colombia

Fernway is looking for an experienced Designer to support our in-house Design team on an ongoing contract basis. This is a production-forward role balanced between Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud. You will work from established brand direction, approved copy, product information, photography, templates, and other supplied assets to produce finished, export-ready digital and print deliverables.

You will work closely with our Multimedia Designer, work on recurring production needs and quick-turn requests across a growing, multi-SKU product line. This role is right for someone who is fast, reliable, comfortable moving between repeatable template-based work and more hands-on design production, and motivated by making a creative team more efficient.

To thrive working with the Fernway Marketing Team, you should:

- Be detail-obsessed and production-precise - files go to print and to vendors.
- Work independently with minimal direction once briefed.
- Be responsive and communicative - clear updates over Slack and email.
- Take ownership of your deliverables end to end, from brief to export.
- Be adaptable - priorities shift, campaigns move fast, and volume varies by week.

ENGAGEMENT DETAILS

This is a contract, project-based engagement. 20 hours a week with the option of increasing hours if workload allows. Strong performers will have consistent, long-term work. Please attach or provide a link to your portfolio when submitting your application.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Design, Menu Assets & In-Store Signage

- Create retail marketing collateral, in-store display signage, and one-off signs tailored to specific products, retailers, locations, and business needs.
- Retouch, composite, resize, and optimize product imagery for dispensary menus, ecommerce platforms, retail partners, and other retail channels.
- Adapt established designs and templates for product launches, field marketing events,

displays, and custom retail requests.
- Prepare print-ready files with the correct dimensions, bleed, spot colors, color profiles, and vendor specifications.
- Review final artwork carefully to ensure product information, QR codes, and other required details are accurate and production-ready.

Product & SKU-Specific Assets

- Create SKU-specific product assets using supplied photography, brand assets, and product information.
- Produce consistent asset sets across multiple products, formats, state markets, and retailer requirements.
- Maintain visual and technical consistency across Fernway's expanding product portfolio.
- As needed, adapt existing product artwork to supplied packaging dielines and prepare accurate, production-ready files.

Canva Templates & Adobe Production

- Work across Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop, selecting the right tool based on the needs of each project.
- Build, update, and maintain repeatable Canva templates for recurring signage, retail materials, and standard digital assets.
- Adapt approved creative into required sizes, formats, and channel specifications without compromising brand consistency.
- Use Illustrator and Photoshop for more complex vector production, image editing, compositing, and print preparation.

Asset Management & Workflow

- Create, manage, place, and test QR codes for retail and digital materials, confirming that links are correct and codes remain scannable in final outputs.

- Maintain and manage consistent file naming conventions and folder structures across Canva projects, Adobe source files, exports, and Google Drive.
- Maintain clean, well-organized Canva projects and layered Adobe files so work can be revised by other team members.
- Communicate progress, confirm priorities, and flag missing information or blockers proactively.
- Support additional production design requests as team needs and priorities evolve.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- 3+ years of professional graphic design or production design experience, agency or in-house.
- Strong working proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to move comfortably between template-based and custom production work.
- Strong experience preparing files for print production, including bleed, spot colors, CMYK, and vendor specifications.
- Experience creating repeatable templates and adapting approved designs across multiple sizes, formats, products, and channels.
- Experience editing and preparing product imagery, including retouching, compositing, resizing, and export optimization.
- Organized file management habits; you maintain clean, labeled, revisable, and export-ready files.
- Strong written communication skills for remote collaboration.
- A portfolio demonstrating precision, brand consistency, and range across print, retail, and digital production.
- Language requirement: English fluency is required.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

- Design briefs with copy, brand assets, reference imagery, and clear specs for every project.
- Fernway brand guidelines, master templates, and a structured asset library.
- Direct, clear communication — no chasing for feedback.
- Consistent ongoing work volume with clear priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative, low-ego team that respects craft and values reliability.
