Position Summary

The Falcon I DHC-8 Airborne Onboard Processor / Mission Systems Technician shall serve as a primary flight crew member aboard the Falcon I DHC-8 ISR aircraft in coordination with aviation programs, mission crews, and supported stakeholders. The Airborne Onboard Processor / Mission Systems Technician shall manage the in-flight execution, monitoring, processing, quality control, imagery review, imagery production, and transfer of mission data collected by onboard ISR systems. The Airborne Onboard Processor / Mission Systems Technician shall operate onboard processing workstations, mission software, data storage devices, mapping tools, communications equipment, and associated mission system components.



This position shall ensure collected mission data is properly captured, organized, annotated, quality checked, exploited at the crew level when required, and prepared for transfer to authorized ground exploitation teams, operations centers, and intelligence stakeholders.

This position requires demonstrated imagery analysis and imagery production experience, including the ability to review, assess, annotate, and prepare ISR-derived imagery products in support of mission reporting, post-mission exploitation, and stakeholder requirements. Responsible for ensuring the appropriate sensor is operated per mission requirements. He/she must be able to operate independently in missions worldwide and must contribute as a team member to maintain the sensors to meet high aircraft availability rates 365 days per year.
