We are searching for a Senior Accountant who combines technical excellence with strategic thinking. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, takes full ownership, and is eager to challenge the status quo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy in fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet positions.
- Ensure that all financial statements accurately reflect the economic reality of the business.
- Serve as the main liaison for internal and external audits, and take full ownership of the Internal Control System (ICS).
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, contributing insights that drive business decisions.
- Be the go-to person for all local tax and regulatory matters, coordinating with external tax advisors and ensuring full compliance with Colombian tax laws.
Ideal Profile:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, with active professional certification in Colombia (mandatory).
- Proven experience in auditing, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of Colombian tax regulations and ability to manage outsourced tax providers.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect accounting with business impact.
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable challenging existing processes and proposing improvements.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to interact with integral teams.
