Responsibilities

Position Purpose: The QA Engineer plans work for functional and automation testing, reviews team’s work output, performs training, and contributes hands‑on automation. They provide testing results, create test automation scripts, and continuously improve the software testing discipline. They demonstrate a highly collaborative approach, with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Design, develop, and implement software testing solutions.
- Analyze and recommend test strategies, process improvements and standards.
- Assist in demonstrating developed solutions to business partners and stakeholders.
- Participate in user story refinement with developers and other team members.
- Document test results and communicate to the project team.
- Maintain traceability of test cases to project requirements.
- Develop and execute application performance testing.
- Work toward learning new tools and technology as required.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:
- 5+ years of experience performing manual testing on a variety of applications (desktop, web based).
- Analyze requirements (business, functional, technical, and design) to create test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Experience in overall quality of releases and create/execute test scripts for a wide variety of applications (desktop and web based).
- Technical depth to create and run test scripts that cover a wide variety of scenarios such as smoke, functional, regression, integration, usability and performance testing but not limited to these.
- Working with tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps, Confluence, TestRails to log bugs and test results.
