HR & Recruiting Coordinator (Remote – Latin America)
Compensation: $1100 - 1300 per month depending on experience, autonomy, and client perception.
About the Role
Higher Option is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Coordinator for a dynamic remote team. You'll work closely with leadership, culture champions, and external platforms to ensure seamless hiring operations and meaningful acknowledgements of staff milestones.
- Coordinate job postings across hiring platforms and internal channels; ensure job descriptions are up to date, centralized and easily accessible
- Manage applicant flow in the Breezy (ATS), including screening coordination and candidate communications
- Schedule interviews and serve as a primary point of contact for candidates
- Manage screening steps, background checks, reference checks, and offer letter preparation and hiring process
- Track hiring metrics and maintain accurate recruiting records
- Assist with pipeline hiring for recurring or high-volume roles

Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including paperwork,



systems access, and first-day logistics
- Ensure new hire documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Support offboarding processes, including exit paperwork, system access removal, and record updates
- Maintain personnel files and employee records in compliance with company policy

HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions
- Assist with PTO tracking, timekeeping, and employee status changes
- Help ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, and hiring activity

Employee Experience & Culture
- Serve as a friendly and professional first point of contact for HR-related questions
