Position Purpose

The Specialist - Payroll is responsible for committing the company on a per payroll basis to accurate Employee Payments, with each individual payment being of great significance to the employee and the aggregate totaling a significant financial impact on the company.



The Payroll Analyst is also responsible for calculating, reviewing, verifying and posting complex payroll and time and attendance data into an automated system; generating and reviewing a variety of automated reports on a routine basis, detecting and responding to due dates, errors, and discrepancies. The position involves independently managing payroll processes to include preparation, reconciliation and problem‑solving. Specific responsibilities include verifying time, processing payrolls, completing tax reconciliations and auditing business processes and controls. This role requires strong knowledge of Colombian payroll legislation, monthly payroll execution, annual payroll processes, social security contributions, tax withholdings, and statutory compliance. The Payroll Specialist is expected to ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution while supporting internal stakeholders and maintaining compliance
