About the Role
Roofs in a Box is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Roofing Supplement Specialist to support U.S.based roofing and insurance restoration projects. In this role, youll be responsible for reviewing insurance scopes, identifying missing or underpaid items, and preparing supplement requests.
Were looking for candidates with a strong background in roofing or general construction, who understand how insurance claims work and are eager to work in a structured, remote environment. Xactimate proficiency is a plusbut if you bring handson construction or estimating experience and are willing to learn, training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Review insurance scopes and determine what additional items should be supplemented
Create and submit accurate estimates Xactimate or other software
Gather and organize all supporting documentation photos, invoices, inspection reports
Collaborate with insurance adjusters, internal teams, and homeowners to ensure clarity and accuracy
Track supplement submissions, follow up on approvals, and ensure timely payments
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing, construction, estimating, or insurance restoration
Understanding of roofing systems and construction practices




Familiarity with the insurance claims process and documentation
English level B2 is required spoken and written
Detailoriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines in a remote work environment
Willingness to learn and work with tools like Xactimate training available
Preferred Qualifications Not Required
Handson experience using Xactimate or similar estimating software
Previous experience submitting supplements to insurance carriers
Familiarity with tools like RoofLink, CompanyCam, or project CRMs
Experience working remotely with U.S.based teams
Bilingual Spanish English
