The Opportunity

CACi is looking for a servant leader to manage a team of talented engineers on mission‑critical programs. This role is designed for an experienced people manager with strong technical background in one of the following: software engineering, AI/ML, systems engineering, or DevSecOps. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers while staying technically engaged to support complex problem‑solving and ensure engineering quality.

Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of engineers across multiple disciplines, fostering their technical and professional growth through regular 1:1 meetings where you deliver feedback, set goals, manage performance, and aid in career development
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, salary planning,



and retention of engineering talent
- Support program execution through workforce management and direct program work
- Assist with managing project priorities, timelines, and deliverables, proactively identifying and removing roadblocks
- Employ agile management that adjust to dynamic staffing and program needs
- Lead a diverse staff across multiple disciplines
- Stay current with engineering practices and contribute to technical discussions to ensure quality and adherence to standards
- Work closely with technical leadership, program management, and customer stakeholders to align priorities and ensure successful delivery
- Agile leader duties may include product ownership/management, release management, and removal of team impediments

Qualifications

Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of professional experience in one or more of the
