Role Purpose
The MPL Solution Design Specialist leads the end‑to‑end design of logistics solutions for new and existing customers. The role is responsible for developing competitive, data‑driven, and financially sound solutions that support commercial growth and operational excellence. The position must develop detailed designs for the solution incorporating the scope of services, operating model, resource models, operating cost estimates, recommended selling price, estimated value for the client and draft P&L.;
- Analyze requirements and define solution architectures based on customer data and operational needs.
- Capture core data and assumptions required to design, cost, and price customer solutions.
- Calculate MPL size/scope requirements using customer product data.
- Create process flows and engineering visualizations for key activities and RFQ technical submissions.
- Maintain close collaboration with LEAN and Business Process Engineering teams to embed continuous improvement methodologies.
- Provide innovative ideas to strengthen competitiveness and solution differentiation.
- Actively contribute to the MPL Solution Design Community, sharing best practices and insights.
- Support automation proof‑of‑concept development.
- Guide area solution design teams on new business opportunities, including RFP responses, CAPEX, presentations, and technical documentation.
