Purpose

The Global Fraud Technology team develops and manages innovative products designed to support the ever-changing threat landscape. We work in close partnership with Fraud Business and key Technology Partners across Scotiabank to drive global technology delivery. We are key team members within Enterprise Technology to ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. General Fraud Technology Team is looking for an energetic and results-oriented Senior Cloud Developer to help build our most innovative Fraud detection and Prevention product. We are seeking influencers, makers, creators and leaders who are flexible, curious, adventurous,



versatile and responsive; and who are ready to roll up their sleeves in a collaborative and productive environment to get things done.

Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern microservices and technology solutions that support core business and regulatory functions, following best-practice architectural and coding standards.
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and document scalable technical solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to implement new features and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for new software releases to validate stability and prevent impacts on the current codebase.
- Optimize system performance by monitoring services, identifying issues, and implementing fixes to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency in production environments.
