The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for leading quality assurance strategies and ensuring high-quality software delivery across projects. This role drives test automation initiatives, defines testing standards, and mentors team members while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams. The Senior QE plays a key role in identifying risks, improving QA processes, and implementing scalable testing solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsabilidades
- Lead the design and implementation of QA strategies, processes, and best practices across projects.
- Define and oversee test plans, automation frameworks, and test coverage to ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive test automation initiatives, including selecting tools, frameworks, and approaches.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level QA engineers.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, stakeholders) to ensure alignment on quality goals.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and quality gaps proactively and propose mitigation plans.




- Define and track QA metrics, reporting testing progress, results, and areas of improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Participate in estimation (LOE), resource planning, and QA strategy definition for new projects.
- Promote knowledge sharing, training sessions, and QA craft initiatives across the team.

Cualificaciones
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with strong focus on test automation.
- Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and QA strategies.
- Strong knowledge of API, backend, and frontend testing.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced English level (B2+ or higher).
- Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers.
- Hands‑on experience with test management
