Network Engineer – Cisco Security (CCIE)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Network Engineer with deep Cisco security expertise to take ownership of complex client engagements from day one. This is a role for someone who has built a career in professional services, knows how to walk into ambiguity and bring structure to it, and leads from the front — whether that’s mentoring a junior engineer, owning a high‑stakes deployment, or being the calm, decisive voice when a client’s environment is on fire.
If you hold a CCIE in Security (or are deep into earning one) and have spent your career in consulting or professional services rather than a single-employer NOC, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Own
- Design, deploy, and optimize Cisco security architectures — firewalls, VPN, identity/access, segmentation, and threat defense — across enterprise client environments.
- Act as the senior technical authority on engagements: scoping solutions, resolving escalations,



and making the calls that keep projects on track.
- Lead and mentor other engineers on technical approach, best practices, and client communication.
- Translate business and security requirements into network designs that hold up in production, not just on a whiteboard.
- Partner with sales and pre‑sales teams to validate solutions before they’re sold.
- Build the documentation, runbooks, and standards that make the next engagement faster than the last.

What You Bring
- CCIE Security certification strongly preferred; CCNP Security as a minimum.
- 5+ years in Cisco network security engineering, with meaningful time in professional services or consulting — not just internal IT.
- A track record of leading technical work, whether formally (team lead, principal engineer) or informally (the person others go to when something breaks).
- Fluent Spanish (written and verbal).
