The Platform Foundations & Services organization is responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, secure, and innovative platform capabilities that power critical business services across Amadeus. Our Platform Engineering teams develop and operate cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes services, automation frameworks, and infrastructure capabilities used globally by engineering teams.

As part of a highly collaborative international organization, we work closely with stakeholders across Europe, the Americas, and India to drive platform standardization, operational excellence, automation, and the adoption of modern engineering practices at scale.

Summary of the role

We are seeking an experienced SRE Manager, to lead a team of Platform and Site Reliability Engineers responsible for Kubernetes-based platforms and related infrastructure services.

The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership skills with a solid technical foundation in Platform Engineering, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.



This role requires the ability to operate successfully within a complex global matrix organization, partnering with architects, principal engineers, product managers, business owners, and engineering leaders across multiple regions.

The successful candidate will drive execution, develop talent, coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives, and help shape the future of our platform strategy while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
