Senior Software Engineer, Mobile - LATAM

Job posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile in Latin America. This role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance a customer-facing mobile application that redefines business travel experiences. You will work at the core of a design‑led mobile team, building feature‑rich, high‑performance, and visually compelling mobile experiences using React Native, with the ability to integrate native iOS and Android functionality where needed.

Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high‑quality, customer‑facing mobile features using React Native and TypeScript
- Optimize application performance, including memory management, rendering, and responsiveness across mobile devices
- Ensure pixel‑perfect, cross‑platform consistency between iOS and Android while leveraging native functionality when required
- Implement unit, integration, and UI tests to maintain application stability and quality
- Collaborate with product managers, designers,



and other engineers to translate mockups and user stories into production‑ready code
- Troubleshoot complex mobile‑specific issues and integrate custom native modules as needed
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications, preferably customer‑facing
- Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript
- Experience with native iOS and/or Android development is a strong plus
- Deep understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices and performance optimization
- Proficient in testing methodologies for mobile applications (unit, integration, UI)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of end‑to‑end feature development
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Based in Latin America with flexibility for remote collaboration across time zones
