Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit insurance claims using Open Dental software
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries from patients and insurance companies
- Maintain and update patient billing records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller, preferably in a dental practice
- Proficiency in Open Dental software is a must
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental billing codes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
