Following the separation of Johnson & Johnson's Orthopaedics business, this position will be with DePuy Synthes. This role is part of the General Services Finance team in the GS Finance Accounting process area. The team provides best‑in‑class, cost‑effective financial services and compliance to operating companies worldwide. As an Accounting (GSF) Accountant at DePuy Synthes (in Bogotá, Colombia), you will execute accounting and daily operations for simple and medium complex MRCs, manage financial periods, and maintain proper internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations and follow guidelines in the J&J; Credo.
- Maintain operational excellence and execute accounting and daily operations for the GSF Accounting process area for simple and medium complex MRCs.
- Complete timely closing and execution of financial periods according to the closing calendar and SLA commitments, ensuring compliance, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of actuals reported within the process/entity scope.




- Apply deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
- Focus on balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
- Provide on‑job training for new team members / BPO partners.
- Support auditors and legal authorities with required activities.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
- Ensure strong internal controls to achieve adequate internal and external audit ratings.

Qualifications & Requirements
- PG23 REQUIRED.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline.
- Basic skill using standard Microsoft tools including MS Teams.
- Effective communication skills.
- Remarkable academic track record and/or achievement; Top 10% of school batch.
