Operating Executive — PIL Colombia, Bogotá

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Executive to join our dynamic team at PIL Colombia in Bogotá.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping schedules and cargo movement with carriers, partners and customs authorities.
- Resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and damaged goods, in a timely manner.
- Conduct performance evaluations of operative partners and service providers.
- Maintain accurate records of ship calls, costs, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.

Must Have (Qualifications)
- Degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping and port operations, as boarding clerk, Operations assistant or executive, Cargo Flow position or related position.




- Comprobable experience in related industries (logistics, shipping or supply chain).
- Ability to understand complex processes, define problems and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts (such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions) to practical situations.
- Knowledge of laws and rules applicable by authorities as well as local usages and customs in the ports under his/her jurisdiction.
- IT and system requirements: intermediate knowledge of MS Office package.
- Language: Good command level of English language written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in logistics management software.
