Commercial Development Resources (CDR) is a California-based engineering and land development consulting firm serving developers, architects, contractors, and national brands throughout the United States.
We are expanding our Cartagena office and seeking talented Civil Engineers who want to work on exciting U.S. commercial, residential, retail, industrial, and mixed-use development projects.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in Cartagena, Colombia.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Design grading, drainage, sewer, water, and storm drain systems
- Perform hydrology and stormwater calculations
- Support permitting and entitlement efforts
- Coordinate with U.S.-based project managers and clients




- Develop engineering reports and technical exhibits
- Participate in project planning and problem-solving efforts

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2–15 years of civil engineering experience
- Experience in land development or site development projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative office environment

Preferred
- Experience supporting U.S. projects
- Hydrology and hydraulic design experience
- Commercial, multifamily, industrial, or mixed-use project experience
- Leadership experience for senior-level candidates
