The Specialist Implementation & Services organization delivers non‑standard, tailored and bespoke travel solutions for airlines, travel agents and partners. It works closely with customers, engineering teams and partners to deliver complex, large‑scale implementations that generate high‑value service revenue. The organization is divided into three pillars: Offer, Order and Ecosystem.
Summary of the role
The API Consultant delivers high‑quality consultancy services to customers integrating Amadeus APIs into their IT ecosystems. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the consultant supports customers from pre‑sales to implementation and optimisation, ensures seamless integration and maximises business value. The consultant owns end‑to‑end delivery, contributes to cross‑functional initiatives and serves as a technical reference within the team.
Responsibilities
- Make recommendations on solutions and propose improvements by analysing different sources of information.




- Support pre‑sales activities by analysing customer business flows and proposing integration approaches, including demos.
- Provide expert guidance on API integration, including architecture, flows and best practices, and translate customer business needs into technical solutions and integration designs.
- Own delivery for assigned projects, ensuring quality, timelines and customer satisfaction, and coordinate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success and other stakeholders.
- Manage multiple priorities across customers and projects, track progress, milestones and risks, and provide regular status reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing by developing reusable assets, documentation and supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
