The role

We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to support a U.S.-based finance firm. This role is idóneo for a proactive accounting professional who excels in a remote environment and is passionate about delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial data to small and mid-sized businesses.

Location and Environment

Location: Must be in Colombia – Remote.

Environment: Colombian and International Teams.

Requirements

Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).

Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.

Experience
- 3–5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience,



ideally supporting multiple clients or industries.
- Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting tools (Xero, NetSuite, FreshBooks).
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote environment.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
- Experience in remote, outsourced, or fractional CFO environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and project management tools (Asana, Trello).
