Overview
Seeking a seasoned backend engineer with strong full stack capabilities to design and implement complex features for a compliance-focused workflow platform built on a modern PHP-based CMS. This role emphasizes independent backend delivery, support for frontend integration, and effective collaboration within a dynamic, multi-team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom modules and extensions enabling advanced workflow integration, notification systems, and robust role-based access controls within a large, evolving PHP-based CMS codebase.
- Deliver complex backend features independently, contributing to solutions with minimal architecture oversight while adhering to project standards.
- Integrate with Vue 3-based frontend applications, ensuring seamless data exchange, consistent state, and smooth user experiences.
- Apply expertise in CMS PHP entity/data models and service container or dependency injection patterns to develop scalable and maintainable backend solutions.
- Collaborate closely with full stack and frontend engineers, analysts,
and QA to ensure thorough implementation, test coverage, and project alignment.
- Work effectively within a monolithic codebase shared by multiple active feature teams, maintaining code quality and minimizing regressions.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing custom modules and integrations on modern PHP-based CMS platforms.
- Proven track record delivering backend features such as workflow logic, notification systems, and advanced access control.
- Working knowledge of Vue 3, sufficient to support frontend integration and resolve full‑stack issues as needed.
- Familiarity with CMS PHP entity/data modeling, service container or dependency injection patterns, and best practices for maintainability in large‑scale codebases.
- Ability to work independently with minimal architecture guidance while actively supporting team objectives.
