Network Engineer independently provides full design, configuration, and support for common data networking implementations (hardware and software), including contact center and network security technology. The role assists senior technicians in designing, configuring, and supporting backbone networks, security DMZs, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and other highly complex and critical solutions with regional and potentially integral impact. It ensures appropriate failover solutions are implemented and tested to meet business continuity needs, performs complex video networking for board meetings and conferences, and provides global support to resolve network outages and diagnose application problems. The engineer may also provide technical guidance to associate network engineers.

What You’ll Do
- Design, configure, and implement network solutions to support changes to teams, offices, and applications, and to incorporate new features that optimize services. Solutions may include departmental switches, enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, and other network technologies.




- Provide full operational support for regional network services that enable customers to access revenue‑generating applications and employees to use internal systems, with limited assistance from senior engineers in mission‑critical and highly complex situations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, asset inventories, and configuration information.
- Analyze vendor invoices for accuracy, maintain inventory, and place equipment orders.
