Summary/Objective:
DYWIDAG is a general leader in construction and infrastructure technology, partnering with government agencies, asset owners, contractors, and engineering firms to deliver innovative solutions that support critical infrastructure projects worldwide.

Essential functions:
Collaborate with Sales Managers and prepare quotations and respond to pricing inquiries for post-tensioning products from customers across the United States and Canada.
Work closely, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Project Management as required.
Communicate directly with customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to clarify scope, technical requirements, and pricing assumptions as required.
Perform cost estimates ensuring compliance with engineering principles, project requirements, and company standards.
Perform quantity takeoffs and review project drawings and specifications to fully understand project scope and accurately incorporate requirements into quotations.
Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production rates, etc.




Promote construction best practices and product innovation.
Monitor all addendums, scope changes, and breakouts to ensure they are incorporated into the estimate.
Compile summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.
Provide guidance and technical support to junior estimators and assist in developing estimating standards, tools, and best practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required education and experience

Advanced English proficiency is required, including the ability to communicate effectively with native English speakers in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. All daily communication, training, and work instructions are conducted in English. Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil engineering
2 – 3 years of experience in construction (ideally on-site or in estimating) or related.
