China Three Gorges Latam, leading renewable energy company, is seeking a Legal & Compliance Intern to join the team. The Legal & Compliance Intern supports the Legal & Compliance team of CTG Colombia Holding S.A.S. in legal research, administrative management, document control, and day-to-day departmental operations. The role is designed as a learning position: under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Legal Counsel, the Intern assists the team across corporate, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters, gaining practical exposure to the legal function of an international energy company.

Key job responsibilities:
Legal Research & Regulatory Monitoring:
Conduct legal research on Colombian commercial, corporate, and energy law matters as requested by the team, preparing research memos and summaries for review by supervising attorneys.
Monitor regulatory developments (CREG resolutions, SSPD circulars, Diario Oficial publications, and XM/UPME updates) and prepare periodic summaries for the team.
Assist in the preparation of internal presentations, briefings,



and regulatory update reports.
Administrative Support & Payments:
Support the processing of payment requests for external counsel and legal service providers, including invoice intake, verification of supporting documents, coordination with the Finance department, and follow-up until payment completion.
Assist with departmental budget tracking, expense records, and periodic reporting of legal spend.
Support the administration of powers of attorney, certificates (certificados de existencia y representación legal), apostilles, notarizations, and other routine corporate documents.
Document & Contract Management Support:
Support the contract management system: filing, numbering, archiving, and updating the contract database, and assisting with deadline and renewal date monitoring.
Maintain and organize the department’s physical and digital files, corporate books, data rooms, and document repositories.
