We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Records Clerk / Case Manager Assistant (RC/CMA) to support our Personal Injury department remotely as an Independent Contractor. This role is adecuado for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong follow-up skills, and enjoys supporting case progression through efficient records management and client communication.
Position Summary
The Records Clerk / Case Manager Assistant (RC/CMA) provides administrative and case management support to assigned Case Managers by obtaining medical records and bills, organizing case documentation, updating Litify, communicating with clients and providers, and ensuring cases move efficiently through each stage of the pre-litigation process.
Primary Responsibilities
Records & Documentation
Request and follow up on medical records, medical bills, police reports, photographs, videos,



insurance documents, and other case-related records.
Obtain records from hospitals, medical providers, imaging centers, employers, and government agencies.
Upload, organize, and properly name all documents in Litify.
Maintain organized electronic case files.
Track outstanding record requests and follow up until received.
Case Management Support
Support assigned Case Managers with daily administrative tasks.
Update client, provider, insurance, and treatment information in Litify.
Monitor assigned task lists and complete work within established turnaround times.
Notify the assigned Case Manager when requested records or documentation have been received.
Assist in preparing files for demand by ensuring all necessary documentation has been collected.
Client Communication
Contact clients regarding treatment updates, appointments, missing documentation, authorizations, and general case stat
