About the Opportuni tyOur client is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize Oracle database environments that support critical healthcare operations. Key Responsibilit iesInstall, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle database environmen ts.Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficien cy.Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery process es.Ensure database security, user access management, and data integri ty.Perform database patching, upgrades, and migratio ns.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issu es.Monitor storage utilization and capacity planni ng.Collaborate with infrastructure, application,



and development teams to support enterprise syste ms.Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and standar ds.Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and healthcare regulatio ns.

Required Qualificat ionsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related fi eld.3+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administra tor.Strong experience administering Oracle Database (11g, 12c, 19c, or new er).Experience with Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, and backup/recovery strateg ies.Knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and optimizat ion.Experience with database security, monitoring, and troubleshoot ing.Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating syst ems.Experience working in enterprise production environme nts.

Preferred Qualifica tionsOracle Database Administration certificat ions.Experience supporting healthcare or highly regulated environm ents.Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery architect ures.Scripting experience with Shell, Bash, or Py thon.Familiarity with cloud database technologies is a plus.
