DauHerkert GmbH was founded by Christian Dau, former head of communications at Porsche, and digital expert Deniz Herkert. As a full-service advertising agency with strong digital expertise, we are divided into two business areas: communications and digital. We help companies and other organizations to position themselves clearly, gain more visibility, convert more prospects into customers, and sell products and services in a more targeted manner.

In our young and rapidly growing company, you will work with modern tools and standardized processes. Since 2018, we have grown to a team of approximately 15 employees working in Germany and at international locations.

Currently, we are looking for a Shopify Developer on a freelance basis specialized in building, customizing, and maintaining high-conversion e-commerce experiences who can support us around 10-15 hours per week. You will focus on translating web designs into performant Shopify stores using Liquid and modern front-end practices, ensuring visual consistency, scalability, responsive,



accessible and seamless user interactions across the entire customer journey.

Responsibilities

- Store Construction: Build, setup, and manage online stores primarily within the Shopify ecosystem.
- E-commerce Architecture: Handle end-to-end e-commerce structuring, development, and management.
- Backend Management: Develop, customize, and monitor product structures, inventory, orders, shipments, customer management, and sales analytics using mainly Liquid and Shopify Admin.
- Design Translation: Translate web designs and visual mockups from Figma into pixel-perfect Shopify themes with high attention to detail.
- Responsive Development: Apply responsive best practices using HTML and CSS for optimal performance across all devices.
