About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead agile delivery and coordinate cross-functional project execution in a digital product, web, or full-stack delivery environment. This role is responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing project planning and execution, maintaining delivery visibility, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.

The idóneo candidate will work closely with Workstream, Delivery, and Program Managers to translate project priorities into actionable delivery plans, maintain backlog health, manage risks and dependencies, and drive continuous improvement while keeping stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in a digital product, web, or full-stack delivery environment.
- Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and improving team flow and throughput.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into executable delivery plans.
- Experience managing ambiguity, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination across UX/UI, content, engineering, and authoring teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in status reporting and risk management.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence (or similar tools), agile metrics (velocity and cycle time), and release management.
- PMP certification is nice to have but not required.

Responsibilities

- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.




- Maintain a consistent sprint cadence and ensure sprint work meets agreed readiness standards, including clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking retrospective action items and ensuring follow-through.
- Collaborate with Workstream and Delivery Leads to convert Project Brief priorities into clear delivery plans.
- Partner with the Delivery Lead to break PRDs into refined, sprint-ready stories for quarterly execution.
- Create and manage the agreed work hierarchy, including Initiatives, Epics, and Stories.
- Maintain Jira as the source of truth by ensuring accurate statuses, clean boards, updated priorities, delivery notes, risks, and dependencies.
- Identify, track, and help remove blockers while managing cross-team dependencies.
- Surface risks, trade-offs, and decision points early and escalate when appropriate.
- Keep stakeholders informed through regular updates on sprint progress, milestones, scope changes, risks, issues, and key decisions.
- Facilitate working sessions and workshops that help move work from idea to build-ready.
- Escalate priority conflicts to Program, Workstream, and Delivery leadership for resolution.
- Ensure project approvers and owners are identified within the Project Brief and escalate unclear ownership or approval paths.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including Project Briefs, PRDs, transcripts, notes, and related project artifacts within the agreed knowledge base.
- Provide lightweight reporting on delivery health, including throughput, velocity, and cycle time, to support planning and forecasting.
- Coordinate cross-functional needs across the Pod and promote effective ways of working.
- Partner with the Program Manager to support adoption of consistent processes, roles, and reporting within the operating model.
