Remote Landscape Design, Estimating & Project Coordination Specialist (Latin America)

About the Position

We are a landscaping design & build company based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team remotely from Colombia or Latin America.

This role combines landscape design, estimating, project coordination, customer service, and operational support. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating efficient systems, solving problems, and helping projects move smoothly from the initial customer inquiry through final installation.

This is a long-term remote position with opportunities for professional growth as our company continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare landscape estimates and proposals.
- Create conceptual and detailed landscape designs based on surveys, photos, and client requirements.
- Select plants and materials appropriate for tropical and subtropical climates.
- Perform material takeoffs and cost estimates for installation and maintenance projects.
- Coordinate material orders and project logistics.
- Participate in customer discovery calls to understand project goals and requirements.
- Follow up with customers and answer project-related questions.
- Prepare project documentation for installation crews.
- Organize project files, photos, and documentation before, during, and after construction.
- Support estimating for commercial and public bid landscape projects.
- Work closely with our Operations Manager, who performs site visits and oversees field execution.
- Organize project photos and content for marketing and portfolio development.
- Help develop company standards, including:




- Material libraries
- Design standards
- SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Templates
- Workflows
- Project portfolios

We are building scalable systems—not simply completing individual projects—and are looking for someone who enjoys improving processes and creating structure.

Requirements:

- College degree in Landscape Architecture, Agronomy, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape design, estimating, construction, or project coordination.
- Experience reading construction plans and preparing quantity takeoffs.
- Strong understanding of landscape plant material and installation methods.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Experience with project management software such as Asana, LMN, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar is a plus.
- Conversational English required (comfortable participating in meetings and speaking with U.S. customers and team members).
- Reliable high-speed internet and home office.

Position Details:
