Preferred Skills and Experience:

5+ years experience in QA automation/ SDET related to mobile

2+ years experience in Android test automation (Appium, Maestro)

Kotlin/ Java Android development experience

Strong experience testing integrated systems with a good understanding of network fundamentals

UI and API test automation experience (E2E)

Espresso or Kaspresso test framework experience

Nice to Have:

Maestro E2E UI test development experience

Typescript, NodeJS experience

Day to day:

An employer is looking for an Android QA Automation Engineer to sit remotely. You will be part of the clients ecommerce QA team, focused on automated testing efforts for their new mobile/ Android applications leveraged in their back of house/ kitchen systems.



These applications directly integrate with their POS systems and this role will be pivotal in QA and automation build out for these applications .

You will create/ implement automated tests and utilize the current framework to ensure optimal functionality. You will enhance the automation framework for new/ existing functionality and coordinate testing activities as part of the Agile team. You will identify/ record defects related to the UI and API aspects for the mobile applications and optimize the testing environment as needed for process improvement.
