As a Culinary Apprentice through our partnership with The American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation (AHLAF) , you’re not just working alongside experienced chefs to gain practical experience in a professional kitchen – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

- Support kitchen operations: Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes to ensure efficient service
- Develop culinary skills: Observe and practice essential techniques, including knife handling, sautéing, and baking
- Contribute to menu innovation: Participate in menu planning and assist in the development of new dishes
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness: Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and free of cross-contamination
- Participate in AHLAF development programs: Complete AHLAF-provided online training to gain new skills and knowledge and advance your culinary career
- Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
