About the Role
Roofs in a Box is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Supplement Specialist to support U.S.-based roofing and insurance restoration projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing insurance scopes, identifying missing or underpaid items, and preparing supplement requests.
We’re looking for candidates with a strong background in roofing or general construction, who understand how insurance claims work and are eager to work in a structured, remote environment. Xactimate proficiency is a plus—but if you bring hands-on construction or estimating experience and are willing to learn, training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Review insurance scopes and determine what additional items should be supplemented
- Create and submit accurate estimates (Xactimate or other software)
- Gather and organize all supporting documentation (photos, invoices, inspection reports)
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, internal teams,



and homeowners to ensure clarity and accuracy
- Track supplement submissions, follow up on approvals, and ensure timely payments

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing, construction, estimating, or insurance restoration
- Understanding of roofing systems and construction practices
- Familiarity with the insurance claims process and documentation
- English level B2+ is required (spoken and written)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines in a remote work environment
- Willingness to learn and work with tools like Xactimate (training available)

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Hands-on experience using Xactimate or similar estimating software
- Previous experience submitting supplements to insurance carriers
- Familiarity with tools like RoofLink, CompanyCam, or project CRMs
- Experience working remotely with U.S.-based teams
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
