? The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to build an engineering org from scratch while working in close partnership with our established engineering team in Australia, who built and scaled the core platform. Your team will extend their work, take on new product capabilities, and operate as a high-velocity engineering pod within our integral organization.

? What You'll Do:

✅ Recruit, interview, and hire engineers, tech leads, and future managers for the Medellín team

✅ Champion AI-first, AI-native development practices to boost speed, quality, and velocity

✅ Foster a strong in-office culture that drives collaboration, learning, and innovation

✅ Establish engineering practices, tooling, coding standards, and delivery rhythms





✅ Partner closely with engineering leadership in Australia to align on architecture and roadmap

✅ Own the Colombia team's contributions to the product roadmap

✅ Shape an AI-first, high-performance engineering culture as the team scales

✅ Represent Colombia in global leadership discussions and planning cycles

? What We're Looking For:

▪️ Proven experience building and leading engineering teams from the ground up

▪️ Strong technical leadership background with hands-on engineering experience

▪️ Deep familiarity with AI-native development tools and practices

▪️ Experience working in distributed, multi-region engineering organizations

▪️ Excellent communication skills to bridge time zones and cultures

▪️ Passion for building strong in-office, high-performance team culture

▪️ Advanced English
