We are partnering with a global technology company that builds and operates mission-critical platforms processing billions of transactions every day. Their infrastructure powers large-scale enterprise systems where performance, scalability, resilience, and high availability are at the core of everything they do.

We're looking for a MariaDB Database Administrator to join a global DBA-as-a-Service team responsible for managing large-scale database environments supporting business-critical applications.

What you'll do

- Deploy, administer, and optimize MariaDB/MySQL database clusters in high-availability environments.
- Monitor database performance and ensure optimal reliability, scalability, and security.
- Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and storage strategies.
- Perform database upgrades, patching, and security remediation.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and support mission-critical environments.
- Collaborate with Software Reliability Engineers, Linux Engineers,



and Development teams to continuously improve database operations and automation.
- Contribute to database automation using tools such as Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting.

What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience administering MariaDB or MySQL in enterprise production environments.
- Solid experience working with Linux.
- Experience automating database administration using Ansible, Python, Shell, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of high availability, backup & recovery, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
