Data Engineer (4 to 6 Years of experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and modern data models that power analytics across the business. You will work with cross functional teams to deliver trusted, high quality data using Snowflake, Python, SQL, and dbt.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain end to end data pipelines into Snowflake from APIs, databases, S3, SFTP, and file based sources.

Develop and optimize dbt models across Orders, Inventory, Products, Customers, Finance, and Marketing.

Manage dbt Cloud jobs, semantic models, testing, and deployment.

Design and optimize Snowflake objects including tasks, stages, views, and data sharing.

Develop Python based ETL and ELT workflows and write high performance SQL for analytics and reporting.

Monitor pipeline health, implement data quality checks,



and resolve production issues within SLA.

Support platform modernization, legacy migrations, CI/CD, and cloud data infrastructure.

Collaborate with Analytics, Marketing, Operations, DevOps, Privacy, and external partners.

Required Skills

4 to 6 years of Data Engineering experience.

Strong hands on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt.

Experience building scalable ETL and ELT pipelines.

Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and pipeline optimization.

Experience with Git, CI/CD, and production support.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue)

Airflow, Fivetran, or similar ELT tools

BI platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with retail or eCommerce data platforms
