The Country Manager will lead and grow the company’s business in Colombia by developing and executing a country strategy aligned with LATAM priorities, driving revenue and profitability, building high-performing local teams, and ensuring operational excellence and full compliance with local regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the business strategy for Colombia aligned with LATAM priorities (market entry, expansion, product localization).
Own P&L; for Colombia; set revenue, margin, and growth targets and deliver against them.
Build and lead a cross-functional leadership team in Colombia (sales, marketing, customer success, operations, finance, legal, HR).
Identify and prioritize country market opportunities, lead market entry, partnerships, and M&A; initiatives.
Create go-to-market plans tailored to Colombia, including pricing, channel strategy, and local partnerships.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax, employment law, and data/privacy requirements.
Drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction; oversee major client relationships and enterprise contracts.
Optimize operational processes, supply chain/logistics (if applicable), and resource allocation within Colombia.
Represent the company with local stakeholders: government, industry associations, investors, and media.
Recruit, mentor, and develop senior local talent; foster inclusive, high-performance culture within the country.
Report regularly on KPIs, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership; implement corrective actions as needed.
Required
Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience with progressive P&L; responsibility; prior Country Manager, GM,
or senior leadership experience preferred.
Proven track record of scaling business operations in Colombia.
Strong commercial acumen in sales, partnerships, and go-to-market execution.
Experience operating in complex business environments, including regulatory compliance and multi-stakeholder management. LATAM exposure is a plus.
Fluency in Spanish required; professional English proficiency required. Portuguese is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required: MBA or equivalent strongly preferred. Core Skills & Competencies:
